RICHARD BOYD: President & CEO
Mr. Boyd graduated from the United States International University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science and since then has been involved in the management and direction of several Alberta companies. He began his career in 1981 as the Senior Marketing Representative with Candal Oil Supply Ltd. In 1989 he created Dynamic Steel Corporation; a service company dedicated to facilities and completion needs of the oil and gas industry. While managing Dynamic Steel, Mr. Boyd was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Northern Spirit Resources Inc. in 2008.The results of the combined opportunities landed him as the Director of Nexxtep Resources Ltd. a private oil and gas exploration company based in Alberta.
Over the years of exposure to the Oil and Gas Industry, Mr. Boyd developed an Inventory Management System for the tubular, line pipe and equipment sector. In 2011 he created Dynaflex Pipe Technologies Ltd., the manufacturing of high density polyethylene pipe.
CHRIS MARIO: Operations Manager
In 1990, Mr. Mario began his career in various areas of manufacturing by specializing in Safety and Training Program development, Human Resources, Quality, and Plastic Extrusion. Chris has developed his Training and Safety education with a Level III Master Trainer from NAIT, Trainer Courses from Alberta Construction Association, Leavitt Machinery, and the U of A. Chris is experienced in development of ISO manufacturing programs, COR Certifications, and completing internal audits. Chris has held various positions at Plastic Pipe Plants such as Polytubes and Flint Energy.
SYLVIA R. BOYD: Director of Marketing
In 1988, Sylvia graduated with a Business Administration and Marketing Management Degree . She began her career in Tourism and Commercial Real Estate. It was her experience in Senior Management roles that led her to the oil and gas industries where she joined the Dynaflex Pipe Technologies Ltd. team in 2010 as the Director of Marketing. Sylvia is responsible for public relations, branding and advertising, event management and trade shows.
Throughout her time with the organization Sylvia also found the time to attend SAIT and complete the Conflict Resolution and Mediation program.
BENJAMIN T. SCHREINER: Business Development
Ben has been with Dynaflex Pipe Technologies since 2011 and has been instrumental in the development of the company. His efforts are focused on expanding the business in a variety of sectors including; Agricultural, Communications, Mining and Oil & Gas. He also has a background in Oil & Gas through is role with Dynamic Steel Corp and has been able to bring both elements together to further the success of Dynaflex Pipe Technologies.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of the Fraser Valley School of Business.
CARL PROVENCHER: Business Development
Carl began his career in the oil and Gas industry in 1984 as a Geophysical Technician for Norcen Energy Resources. After five (5) years with the exploration team he took the next step in his career with Varidata Surveys Ltd. as a Seismic Data Broker. This role propelled him into a top salesman position and was consequently offered partnership with the company. In 2004 Carl became President of the company and for four years managed sixteen (16) employees. Four (4) years later the Varidata Surveys Ltd. was approached by ARCIS for an acquisition. In 2010 Carl left ARCIS and began consulting as a Marketing Representative in areas of selling industry trade seismic, speculative programs, project management, seismic data management for other oil and gas companies.
Carl joined the Dynaflex Pipe Technologies Team in 2011 as a Marketing Representative. Throughout his three decades in the industry he has built a strong network of contacts that will enable Dynaflex Pipe Technologies to continue to build a portfolio of valued clients.
